Am nördlichen Hang über der Stadt Königswinter befindet sich das 1882 im historistischen Stil erbaute Schloss Drachenburg.

Schloss Drachenburg auf dem Drachenfels in Königswinter, dessen Grundstein im Jahre 1882 gelegt wurde. Es wurde in Rekordzeit von 1882 bis 1884 in historistischem Stil (v.a. Neoromanik) als repräsentativer Wohnsitz für den Börsenmakler, Bankier und späteren Baron Stephan von Sarter (1833–1902) gebaut, der jedoch nie in dem Schloss wohnte. Nach seinem Tod war das Schloss mehreren Nutzungswandeln ausgesetzt.

Castle "Drachenburg" on the "Drachenfels" in "Königswinter, whose foundation stone was laid in 1882. It was built in record time from 1882 to 1884 in the historicist style (especially Romanesque Revival) as a representative residence for the stockbroker, banker and later Baron Stephan von Sarter (1833-1902), who never lived in the castle. After his death the castle was just in different ways.
